All Things Good and Beautiful is a division of Celestial Trading Group which is owned and operated by me, Natalie Dalgetty. I am assisted by a terrific support team which includes my family, friends and a variety of professionals. My business operations are based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a dynamic, rapidly growing city of close to a million people located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Western Canada.

The idea for All Things Good and Beautiful started many years ago when I was a very young child. My Mom tells me that when people would ask what I was going to do when I grew up, I would reply, " I'm gonna have a store!" When they asked what I would have in the store, I told them "All things good and beautiful!", and the company name was born!  Of course it wasn't until many years later that this name would come into play.

After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a BA in Sociology, I worked in a variety of retail and distribution sales positions as well as retail management. Along the way I became interested in new technology and especially the potential of the internet. I realized that more and more people like me had less and less free time at our disposal and anything that added convenience in our lives could also create more free time. I began searching for a way I could perhaps create a business that would provide that convenience to people who have little free time thus freeing up time to spend with their friends and families rather than having to spend it out shopping in malls.

After a downsizing lay off, attending a self-employment program at Meyers Norris Penny and consideration of my interests, I created Celestial Trading Group - a company dedicated to creating innovative businesses. In researching a possible area to begin, I noticed that many of the products in the home and garden category were exactly the same from website to website. How boring!! And Home and Garden Sanctuary was born. Shortly after creating the website, I also added an eBay store and began adding other unique items beyond the home and garden decor categories.

With the eBay store, I have found a definite niche in the US marketplace. Because I source and stock all my company's own products, I have had great success with what people see as interesting and unique products. To date, I have successfully shipped products all over North America, South America, the British Isles, continental Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and the far east to Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. I also decided I need to translate these great products into an expanded website to bring these products to people who are looking for unique items but want the ease of an eCommerce site rather than searching and bidding on eBay. Since the expanded product line didn't fit only into the home and garden category, I decided to create All Things Good and Beautiful and incorporate Home and Garden Sanctuary into the overall website.

I am very pleased and excited to bring you products that are the culmination of searching to find unique, good quality, beautiful items and creating great relationships with my suppliers over the past six years. I think that you will find some terrific products that make great gifts and are just as enticing for your own personal use. While some products could be considered staples to the site, I wouldn't recommend waiting for too long to grab something if you want it. Products sell out from the manufacturer and distributor all the time, and once they are gone, that's it! I hope in the future to source as many of own products as possible to have more control over the buying and distribution process.
